Job Description

The Medya Advertising Agency, with 25 years of continuous activity in advertising, marketing, and brand development, is currently one of the companies within the Sunich Group and plays a key role in advancing the group’s goals alongside other companies. We are looking for a Jira Administrator to manage and configure our Jira instance to meet the needs of various teams within our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Jira Align, and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. You will be responsible for administering and optimizing our Jira platform, troubleshooting issues, and supporting users in the effective use of Jira tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and configure Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Jira Align (if applicable).
  • Create, manage, and maintain Jira projects, workflows, boards, permissions, and users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Jira issues, including user permissions, project configurations, and customizations.
  • Set up and manage Jira add-ons and plugins to extend functionality.
  • Implement Jira best practices and work closely with teams to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist with the setup of custom reports, dashboards, and filters to meet business needs.
  • Train and provide ongoing support to users on Jira best practices, including workflows, project setups, and reporting.
  • Monitor the performance of the Jira platform and ensure uptime and reliability.
  • Manage Jira backups, upgrades, and system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate Jira with other tools and systems.
  • Continuously improve the configuration of Jira to match changing business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administering Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Jira Align (if applicable).
  • Strong understanding of Jira workflows, permissions, and project configurations.
  • Experience with Jira add-ons and plugins such as ScriptRunner, Tempo, or Zephyr.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to train and support users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
  • Experience with Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Groovy or JavaScript.
  • Atlassian certifications (Jira Software Administrator, Jira Service Desk Administrator, etc.).
  • Experience integrating Jira with other tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and system integrations.
