Job Description

Carrying out tasks related to purchasing and selecting suitable suppliers to ensure quality procurement at optimal prices and within appropriate timelines, in line with achieving the objectives of the internal procurement unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, review, and evaluate potential suppliers in terms of quality, delivery timelines, and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Conduct necessary activities to establish effective relationships with suppliers.
  • Review and monitor products received from suppliers to ensure they meet defined and desired standards.
  • Provide recommendations, request quotations, and negotiate with suppliers while adhering to the organization's policies and guidelines.
  • Control costs in compliance with defined rules, guidelines, and the organization’s budget.
  • Prepare and finalize contracts with suppliers in accordance with organizational policies and guidelines.
  • Create and maintain an archive to document procurement records and supplier information.
  • Handle order placement, track deliveries, and oversee all tasks to ensure timely receipt of purchases in quality condition.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for essential purchases.
  • Verify and validate invoices at the source to ensure accuracy.
