Logistics Operations Manager

Job Description

• Plan, implement, control and optimize warehouse processes, cost control and performance of warehouse supervisors.
• Forecaste the needs of human resources to carry out warehousing activities.
• Control and monitor the temperature requirements of cold storage (refrigerator and freezer) and distribution vehicles to maintain the cold chain.
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations and safety standards and other KPIs defined by the organization in activities related to cold storage.
• Communicate and coordinatewith other departments of the company.
• Identify and solve operational problems and challenges related to the cold chain.

Requirements

• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Operational Management, or related fields.
• At least three years of relevant work experience as a cold chain warehouse manager.
• Proficient in the principles and techniques of warehouse and logistics management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
• High leadership, team building, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork spirit.
• Creativity, flexibility and responsibility.
• Familiar with English or Turkish.
