We are looking for a skilled and experienced Marketing Data Scientist to join our team, where you will play a critical role in developing algorithms and data models that shape our marketing strategies and optimize business outcomes across customer development, pricing, promotions, media, assortment, store layout, and more.
Position Overview:
The marketing data scientist will support the development of advanced marketing methodologies to address key measurement challenges and drive strategic marketing decisions. This role requires a professional who can translate business requirements into data-driven insights and analytic solutions, using advanced programming and data science skills to provide actionable recommendations to our business and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Algorithm Development: Research and develop algorithms that enhance customer development, pricing, promotion optimization, media optimization, assortment planning, store layout, and other key marketing areas.
- Methodology Scaling: Develop, socialize, and scale analytical methodologies to solve complex marketing measurement challenges, ensuring alignment with the broader business strategy.|
- Data Integration & Analysis: Synthesize data from multiple sources to provide actionable business insights and/or analytic solutions for stakeholders.
- Strategic Translation: Translate business requirements into analytic strategies and initiatives that align with the objectives of marketing and business teams.
- Insight Delivery: Communicate findings and insights effectively to cross-functional teams, supporting data-driven marketing decisions and strategies.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in data science or analytics, ideally with a focus on marketing data and quantitative models.
- A Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable university is preferred.
Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and/or other programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative data models in marketing, including experience with marketing optimization and measurement.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to present data findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
