Job Description

  • Lead the material planning team ensuring on time in full RM/PM supply is in place according to the monthly production forecast & daily/weekly production schedule.
  • Calculate and maintain optimum material replenishment plan, and order pattern considering the latest estimated lead times.
  • Maintain optimum inventory level based on WH available space and storage condition.
  • Stakeholder (production, MO, and purchasing) and supplier management. In close contact with stakeholders for alignment, assessment, and feedback aiming for continuous improvement; periodic meetings with suppliers and visits if required.
  • Preparing planning department reports. e.g. monthly RM/PM orders and forecast, KPI rating, supplier evaluation report, full-year purchase forecast, etc.
  • Preparing planning and reception team KPIs based on department and company KPIs and ensuring targets are achieved.
  • In charge of the development of self and team; also to ensure for self and key positions there is a successor is being developed and is in place.
