We seek a skilled network security engineer with expertise in firewalls and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Security Services like AAA servers to join our dynamic security team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network security principles, threat assessment, and defense mechanisms to protect our infrastructure and applications from cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain firewall and WAF systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Monitor firewall and WAF logs for anomalies, breaches, and compliance violations, and respond to incidents as necessary.
Implement security policies and procedures as they relate to network access, protocols, and data protection.
Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate WAF into application environments, providing security recommendations and best practices.
Analyze security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation and mitigation.
Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence to proactively adjust security measures.
Document security processes and policies and maintain accurate network security documentation.
Provide training and support to staff on security best practices and awareness.
Liaise with third-party vendors to evaluate security products and solutions.
Working Conditions:
Working hours: Saturday to Tuesday 07:30 am to 4:30 pm; Wednesdays from 07:30 am to 3:30 pm (30 minutes flexibility).

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are a plus.
5+ years of experience in network security with a focus on firewalls and WAFs.
In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, SOPHOS, Fortinet, etc.) and WAF solutions (Fortiweb).
Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, etc.) and security technologies (IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.).
