We are looking for an operations engineer for our Rudeshour Power Plant to:
Cooperate with the operation team and manager to provide high-standard plant operation service to the client according to O&M standards, contracts and local regulations.
Comply with work plan, plant safety regulations, and engineering policies
Comply with national grid procedures, IGMC, LDC, and customer satisfaction
Check the status of all plant systems
Prepare the unit outage Calendar
Supervise plant shut-down and start-up procedures as required
Assure that the plant meets its generating requirements while operating in a safe and efficient manner
Cooperate with the operation shift team to respond to emergencies
Utilize computerized Plant Management System BFS++ for operation supervising
Continuously improve technical knowledge by attending training courses and practical training in the field.
Ensure high quality of workmanship.
Clarify technical issues with the corporate department, back office, and suppliers.
Protect the environment by reducing hazardous waste and avoiding unnecessary spillages
Continuously improve technical knowledge by attending training courses and obtaining additional job-related licenses
Organize vacation and compensation leave of the operations team
Train and supervise new employees
Support other departments wherever practical and possible.
Requirements
A technical college degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronic Engineering/Automatic Control Engineering) and at least 5 years of working experience as a service/maintenance engineer in industrial plants (preferably power plants) or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronic Engineering/Automatic Control Engineering.
Working experience in the service/maintenance sector of industrial plants (preferably power plants).
Experience as a supervisor of a small team is a plus.
