Job Description
- Participate in the installation, maintenance, validate, support and optimization of all monitoring applications and services.
- Develop and design cost-effective monitoring solutions by studying information needs; data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas.
- Evaluate and customize frameworks including open-source software for better service.
- Schedule and perform regular server maintenance (Windows/Linux).
- Develop, maintain, and improve best practices within the monitoring team.
- Create automation for database management procedures.
- Follow, create, and maintain technical documentation and processes.
- Participate and support 24/7.
Requirements
- Recommended 5+ years of Monitoring engineering or solution providing in monitoring Tools.
- Experience in MSSQL, MySQL, No-SQL, Java, PHP, Python, Bootstrap, XML, Shell scripting.
- Familiar with Angular and React.
- Comfortable with Linux, Docker, and GIT, satisfactory in terms of monitoring systems administration.
- Shows creativity and initiative to improve monitoring tools and effectiveness.
- Scrum/Agile development methodology and PMP Knowledge is a plus.
- Proven ability to work under pressure.
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and have a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to share knowledge and mentor colleagues including developing and presenting training sessions.
- High integrity and business ethics (important).
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills (the above-mentioned Software), with the ability to recover lab equipment.
- Team player (important).
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
