Rehabilitation of Fertilizing Plants in CPAMC:

RAMPCO Group entered the Venezuelan market in 2013 after conducting extensive research. Focusing on petrochemical and refinery maintenance projects, partnered with Pequiven in 2020 to collaborate on projects. In 2022, RAMPCO secured a contract to rehabilitate the ammonia unit of the Ana Maria Campos petrochemical complex (CPAMC), beginning its operations in September 2023.

Position Summary:

You will support the Process Team in plant operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Furthermore, you will proactively monitor production processes and recommend corrective, preventative, and predictive actions to improve efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare commission procedures based on industry standards and technical documents.
  • Assist in commissioning activities and ensure the plant's operational readiness.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs to observe process conditions and identify potential issues.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting operational problems and process deviations.
  • Recommend and implement process modifications to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Support the Process Team in startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze key process parameters to optimize plant performance.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure process integrity and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in the industry, including commissioning and startup operations.
  • Strong background in process troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Eager to learn.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
  • Knowledge of ammonia production processes.
  • Familiarity with process simulation software and digital monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of the industry standards, such as API, ASME, etc.
