To manage relationships with suppliers, internal customers, line managers, and direct reports.
To monitor and manage the life cycle of purchases and contracts to ensure addressable spending in the assigned categories is under contract and managed.
To ensure that requests from relevant divisions are met regarding product and service quality, quantity, price, and delivery time.
To manage requirements of businesses by holding tender, e.g., tender’s document preparation, terms and conditions, pricing, negotiations, payment, preparation of modification requests, and close-out activities in accordance with procurement policies and procedures and quality management standards plan.
To manage the Supplier selection process, including;
Support supplier pre-qualification.
Supervise, prepare, issue, and evaluate RFx.
Supervise or prepare tender committee and supplier quality documentation.
Prepare Stakeholders’ committee presentation.
To manage Contract Management Processes Including;
Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
Monitor progress and compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Ensure purchases are made in accordance with the contract or agreed terms and conditions.
Manage change requests and variations.
Maintain professional relationships with internal customers and other stakeholders.
To monitor financial aspects of purchase through various analyses, including;
Deliver on cost savings and/or “Cost-Avoidance” targets
Establish beneficial commercial terms and conditions at the best value and total cost of ownership of assigned procurement
To ensure Customer Service requirements are met through;
Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal customers
Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers
Report periodically to related teams (A&R , Planning & Performance , …) on the progress of procurement assignment
Manage and implement new actions and policies that are announced by A&R or other authorities
To act as a Market Savvy and Research on latest trends and supply chain developments to stay abreast of events in the supply chain and procurement arena
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, or related fields; or an MBA/DBA degree.
At least 5 years of experience in an area of specialization, with experience in supervising/managing others.
Experience working in a medium to large organization.
Experience in contract management from the RFP stage through contract close-out is required.
Experience in supply chain leading practices and trends.
