Identify new suppliers and assist in negotiating supply agreements and contracts as needed, including discount structures, volume rebates, etc.
Identify opportunities for cost management/value addition.
Forecast procurement needs and reorder points.
Ensure supplier compliance with all company regulations and requirements, including documentation.
Handle purchasing issues.
Responsible for resource and supply availability and timing.
Perform cost analysis on items, quantities, and holding costs.
Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
Reduce the risk of key supplier dependency.
Plan and execute special promotional campaigns, and prepare promotions in parallel with the marketing plan and seasonality.
Provide category portfolio development, execute and improve the performance of the declared category by efficient assortment building (supplier and product selection) pricing.
Analyze market conditions, maintain strategic market relationships, and have knowledge of market trends.
Gather information relating to the customer's reaction to products.
Prepare periodic performance reports.
Requirements:
Full knowledge of marketing service purchasing.
Proficiency in marketing service purchasing is preferable.
At least a Bachelor's degree.
Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure, and the willingness to put in the extra hours, when needed.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
