Develop and implement procurement strategies for related business groups (BGs).
Deliver cost savings and cash objectives for assigned portfolios.
Responsible for purchasing all Raw and Packaging Materials (RMPM) for all brands in all categories in Iran.
Cooperate with global procurement to support accurate price forecasting, assess market conditions and trends, and enable reliable budgeting and price forecasting.
Support the sourcing of local materials and ensure OTIF of locally sourced items.
Responsible for SM/SC integration and MCO support/First point of contact for the local business team.
Deploy material strategy into the local business.
Coordinate between different SM teams within the region and all Unilever BGs.
Monitor local market trends, competitors’ positions and behaviors, and legal and logistic issues to have proactive decision-making ability and pass them to the Iran Leadership Team.
Develop and implement supplier value creation with CSMs and MSMs.
Create/collect data and prepare reports to fulfill SM requirements.
Keep social responsibility high on the agenda and work closely with BGs and suppliers to drive key initiatives such as sustainability and RPP (Responsible Partnership Program).
Manage and track the new supplier approval process and direct the team accordingly.
Resolve material sourcing issues and supplier-related problems
Carry out vendor rating system.
Establish savings and buying performance agenda to remain competitive in the market.
Prepare updates and presentations for the leadership team and present them on relevant platforms.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (Engineering fields are a plus).
At least 8 years of RPM procurement experience is required, with at least 5 years of previous managerial experience (a plus).
Strong command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to convey complex data to various audiences.
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
Action-oriented and proactive approach.
Demonstrated team leadership skills and local networks.
