Co-Founder & Head of R&D (Scientific Commercialization)

Focus: Biological Control Solutions (Entomopathogenic Fungi)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a visionary Co-Founder with a strong academic background (MSc/PhD) in Plant Pathology, Agricultural Entomology, or Microbiology. You will not just be a scientist; you will be the architect of our product development, bridging the gap between cutting-edge laboratory research and industrial-scale commercial production.
Key Responsibilities:
Scientific Leadership: Lead the R&D efforts in optimizing the mass production and sporulation of Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae.
Commercial Formulation: Develop, test, and scale stable, field-ready formulations that ensure high virulence, shelf-life, and ease of use for farmers.
Bio-assay Strategy: Design and execute rigorous bio-assays targeting major pests, specifically the Mediterranean fruit fly, while exploring new pest-control frontiers.
Scalability & Commercialization: Transition lab-scale successes into viable, cost-effective industrial processes. Make critical decisions on product strategy based on market demand and profitability.
What We Are Looking For:
Expertise: Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Entomology, Plant Pathology, or Microbiology.
Mindset: A unique blend of scientific depth and entrepreneurial ambition. You care about the “science,” but you are obsessed with the “product.”
