POSITION SNAPSHOT:

Location: Qazvin/Iran Company: Nestlé;
Full-Time;

POSITION SUMMARY:

Support and coordinate for development of all local sourcing, and contract manufacturing projects including farms from quality perspectives. To achieve targets on quality expectations, continuous improvements, and benchmarking to ensure compliance and competitive sustainable supply to serve Nestlé brands and also support developing local suppliers, and Co Man to expand the number of local materials used in the production per the business aligned roadmap. Support ensuring supply through mitigating single source suppliers.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Support and coordinate the implementation of different projects in respective suppliers to develop them in terms of Good Manufacturing Practices, suitability, and management systems in line with the other standards.
  • Follow up with internal and external members to ensure that Nestlé standard is applied appropriately at the supplier end. Verification of compliance and follow up on closure of the gaps.
  • Apply various assessments based on Nestle standards regarding HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), traceability, and transparency concepts in food industries and define a rollout plan to close the gaps.
  • Strong project management in terms of supplier development and sustainable results.
  • Develop the necessary measuring tools keep a complete record of documentation and reports and facilitate the audits of his/her respective areas.

What Will Make You Successful? 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Sciences, Food Industries, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Veterinary.
  • At least 3 years of quality assurance experience in Good Manufacturing Practices environments such as food or pharma industries, dairy background is preferred).
  • Very good English communication skills both written and oral.
  • Leadership skills: good in resolving conflicts, highly skilled in time management, and well-developed organizational skills. Should be able to direct cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule and resources at required quality in a structured way and with close follow-up.
  • Safety: a strong safety mindset to drive a safe working culture and behavior.
  • Time flexible and locally mobile.
  • Communication, and stakeholder management, presentation skills.
