POSITION SUMMARY

A warehouse assistant conducts all physical tasks based on warehouse/product requirements by material handling equipment while ensuring health and safety, product safety and environment are never compromised, and enhancing business objectives and operations performance.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Deliver required materials to production on time and accurately and help the stock controller with weekly and monthly stock counting.
  • Receive finished products on time from production based on defined frequency as well as receiving RPM and check the accuracy based on the delivery plan.
  • Check, implement, and maintain all Nestle Good Warehousing Practices.
  • Monitor and report all compliant/non-compliant SHE rules on the BBSHE and Near Miss portal.
  • Load and unload the RPM and FG.
  • Update all labels and match them with the ERP system daily.
  • Ensure all truck and container checklists are current and update all relevant measures.
  • Safely operate with the forklift and reach truck, and maintain MHE in good condition.
  • Ensure full compliance with required standards and everyday audit readiness.
  • Physical activities such as doing re-pallets, washing and cleaning pallets, following 5S activities, and participating in TPM tasks.

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • Minimum experience in warehouse disciplines, preferably.
  • Good level of ERP knowledge.
  • Basic level of English.
  • Good level of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Comfortable working with numbers.
  • Holder of valid driving license to operate material handling equipment.
