Point-to-Point (Microwave, E-Band) link planning, implementation and optimization.
Perform as Sr. design/field engineer in the area of Microwave transmission networks.
Microwave design in the 18GHz, 26Hz, and 38GHz 80GHz frequency spectrum using Ellipse (or else) design tools used for terrain and Fresnel analysis of prospective sites.
Field engineering surveys and LOS verification to confirm the viability of prospective selected locations
Sites candidate recons, evaluation, approvals, and auditing to determine suitability and availability for collocation, etc.
Optimize access transmission network to enhance its capacity, availability, and best performance
Provision of technical support for zoning hearings and inter-modulation studies when required or necessary Inspection, evaluation, and approval of engineering and construction drawings to confirm they meet specifications and design requirements.
Design and develop test plans and test cases for Microwave Transmission Networks.
Provide solutions for problematic links and follow them to solving.
Provide network deployment and support for Huawei equipment and third-party suppliers on deployment projects and programs.
Provide customers with data network technical support, including problem escalation resolution and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction with equipment and servicing.
Network traffic engineering and analyses.
Work closely with the procurement department for local service supplier assessment and qualification.
Work closely with product verification teams, R&D, Project management, customer support, sales and marketing, and third-party vendors to coordinate technical solutions.
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, or Telecom Engineering.
Familiar with Microwave transmission concepts.
Familiar with RTN900 series and e-band links and their boards and versions.
Familiar with Microwave network planning and with the design tool Ellipse and U2000 Network Management system.
Familiar with engineering implementation for microwave networks, implementation characteristics, and risks in a microwave project.
Familiarity with the ITU Recommendations for Microwave Communications and Error Performance.
Fluency in English as a working language both Spoken, Written & Communication
