Deploy and implement global strategies and cluster-level SHE strategies, policies, and standards to achieve excellent and sustainable site results.
Ensure adherence to local/national SHE legislation and Unilever standards; provide expert advice and implement necessary procedures.
Support site leadership in developing and managing internal crisis and safety committees; lead or support severe incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Oversee occupational health, safety, and environmental performance metrics and initiatives.
Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to eliminate or mitigate safety and environmental risks.
Develop and execute internal audit and inspection systems to monitor SHE compliance.
Identify training needs and support the delivery of relevant SHE programs.
Lead health and safety campaigns to promote awareness and engagement.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of SHE data and compliance with reporting obligations.
Conduct regular SHE assurance audits.
Oversee and manage all on-site security operations to ensure a safe and secure environment for personnel, assets, and facilities.
Develop and enforce site security policies and procedures in line with corporate standards and local requirements.
Lead access control systems, visitor management, surveillance, and perimeter security.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in SHE management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex SHE concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to travel as required for site visits, audits, and inspections.
