Job Description

The sales specialist is responsible for improving the customer's operations, ensuring profitable sales, understanding customer needs and requirements, and increasing customer satisfaction.

  • Initiate outbound and receive inbound phone activity, email, etc. to design solutions that enhance customers' business operations, generating profitable sales, and increasing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct annual planning for the assigned accounts and the respective top customers.
  • Adapt forecasts for top customers.
  • Responsible for pricing, negotiation, and finalization of sales orders.
  • Enter client data and orders into Döhlers systems in cooperation with CS.
  • Prepare quotations quickly in collaboration with pricing and based on agreed minimum order quantities, standardized prices, extra packaging charges, payment and delivery conditions, etc.
  • Responsible for providing customer solutions to meet customer needs
  • Acquire new business through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Follow up on all aspects of customer requests for Döhlers products, capabilities, services, etc.
  • Maintain accurate account files of all customer data and leads including all written communications.
  • Be well-networked within the Döhlers organization to direct or respond promptly to a customer's inquiry or need.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the food industry in the B2B section is a must.
  • Customer-focused with problem-solving and strong negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering fields, Business Administration, or related fields (food or chemical engineering is an advantage).
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal.
  • Good team player.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willing to take initiative and responsibility.
