The sales specialist is responsible for improving the customer's operations, ensuring profitable sales, understanding customer needs and requirements, and increasing customer satisfaction.
Initiate outbound and receive inbound phone activity, email, etc. to design solutions that enhance customers' business operations, generating profitable sales, and increasing customer satisfaction and retention.
Conduct annual planning for the assigned accounts and the respective top customers.
Adapt forecasts for top customers.
Responsible for pricing, negotiation, and finalization of sales orders.
Enter client data and orders into Döhlers systems in cooperation with CS.
Prepare quotations quickly in collaboration with pricing and based on agreed minimum order quantities, standardized prices, extra packaging charges, payment and delivery conditions, etc.
Responsible for providing customer solutions to meet customer needs
Acquire new business through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Follow up on all aspects of customer requests for Döhlers products, capabilities, services, etc.
Maintain accurate account files of all customer data and leads including all written communications.
Be well-networked within the Döhlers organization to direct or respond promptly to a customer's inquiry or need.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the food industry in the B2B section is a must.
Customer-focused with problem-solving and strong negotiation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering fields, Business Administration, or related fields (food or chemical engineering is an advantage).
At least 5 years of experience in similar positions.
