Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Job Summary:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in our marketing team by identifying and engaging potential prospects. Your primary responsibility will be to generate and qualify leads through outbound outreach efforts, such as emails, and LinkedIn messages. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting: Research and identify potential prospects and decision-makers within target industries and companies.
  • Outbound Outreach: Initiate and maintain contact with prospects through email, and social media platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Lead Qualification: Assess the suitability of leads based on established criteria and qualify them for further engagement with the sales team.
  • Information Gathering: Gather essential information about prospects, including their needs, pain points, and potential buying interest.
  • Communication: Deliver compelling messages and value propositions to engage prospects and schedule meetings or product demonstrations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.

Requirements

  • Proactive, result-oriented, and proficient in English
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong English communication skills, especially written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sales or lead generation experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends is a plus.
  • A proactive and persistent approach to prospecting and lead qualification.
