POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the sales support supervisor is to enable the sales team, and the category managers to make an effective business decision based on accurate data and analysis insight, to manage sales operations to achieve sales objectives, to coordinate between the stakeholders, and to provide key meetings and provide valuable insight to the sales team. The ideal candidate should be results-focused, service-oriented, and proactive.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Follow up with sales performance versus objectives and provide feedback and necessary insightful analysis to the sales teams and category managers team.
  • Support and monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of targets and incentives.
  • Ensure the adaptation of all tools that will allow the Head of Sales to track and analyze business-related data. 
  • Perform as a sales co-pilot and provide analysis and insights, heads up, and recommendations to the sales team to enable them to make the key decisions related to sales strategy, ROI improvement, and TTS optimization.
  • Actively planning and following up with the department budget and cost including the Total Trade Spend (TTS) budget.
  • Support TTS efficiency by conducting pre and post-evaluation and learning logs to maximize ROI.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process and calendar zing of volumes.
  • Monitor to ensure the accuracy and compliance of salesforce incentive calculation.
  • Ensure effective and efficient dispute management by providing relevant reports and analysis and participating in meetings with customers.
  • Ensure reconciliation is done every month, analyze root causes, and provide an action plan (1C).
  • Communicate and validate sales and TTS reports to HO to be reflected in Mosaic (1C).
  • Ensure TTS elements booking is in line with related GLs (1C).
  • Lead on mapping new claim-capturing process as per business needs (1C /CPPO).
  • Monitor and oversee the sales support team's daily tasks to ensure continuous training and coaching are in place for sales support team members.
  • Conduct trainings/refreshers to sales, sales support team, and other stakeholders to improve business insight regarding all sales-related topics.
  • Lead sales support process to ensure an efficient and synchronized planning cycle and ensure optimum production.
  • Revamp and restructure the sales support team to accommodate business needs and priorities.
  • Conduct weekly compliance checking meetings to ensure all documentation and processes are in line.
  • Ensure strict adherence and compliance on all activities undertaken, including those taking place on trade, to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes and Nestlé Instructions and local country codes.
  • Comply with Nestlé’s strictest requirements that Nestlé marketing and sales personnel will not seek contact with, or give advice to pregnant women, or mothers of infants and young children regarding Infant Formula in their business capacity.

What Will Make You Successful?

  • FMCG knowledge and knowledge about the Nestlé brands.
  • Physical and outlet-wise understanding of assigned territory, product knowledge, customer needs, and buying patterns would be an asset.
  • Proficient skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • At least 3 years of experience in finance or economics.
  • A university degree in Finance, or Economics.
  • Professional English skills.
