Job Description

  • System Support: Provide day-to-day support to end-users regarding SAP CO functionality, processes, and transactions. Troubleshoot issues, resolve errors, and assist users in navigating the SAP CO module effectively.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on how to utilize SAP CO features and functionalities optimally. Share best practices, tips, and tricks to enhance user proficiency and efficiency.
  • Configuration and Customization: Collaborate with SAP consultants’ teams to implement changes, enhancements, and updates as needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate standard and ad-hoc reports using SAP CO reporting tools (such as Report Painter, Report Writer, or SAP BW) to support management decision-making and financial analysis. Analyze cost data, variances, and trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Work closely with business stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement. Propose enhancements to existing SAP CO configurations, workflows, and procedures to streamline operations and increase productivity.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP CO configurations, processes, and procedures. Update user manuals, training materials, and job aids to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available for end-users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with SAP CO module in a power user or a similar role is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SAP CO functionalities, including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze cost data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with users at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
