Senior Business Insight Analyst

Job Description

We seek a senior business insight analyst to join our business finance team.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring business KPIs and dashboards and giving on-time signals about business performance.
• Learning data analysis tools, and processes and developing a business analytical mindset.
• Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights.
• Collaborate with the management team to determine and rank the needs of different business units.
• Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments.
• Analyzing and expanding business operations toward sustained growth.
• Monitoring revenue streams and identifying opportunities to increase profitability.
• Performing competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and
• management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
• Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Economics, Business, or an MBA graduate; or a comparable discipline is required, with prior experience in data and business analysis or a related field being advantageous.
• Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel) and mastery in data analysis languages including SQL and Python.
• Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
• Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex --data insights for audiences without a technical background.
• General knowledge of data/business/analysis/marketing principles.
• Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
• High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance.
• Comfortable navigating through gray areas without clear solutions.
• Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter with good time management skills when urgent deadlines need to be met.
• Proficiency in English.
