
Job Description
Performing various activities related to the preparation and management of service and procurement contracts, tendering processes, contract administration, amendments, and counterclaims to ensure effective contract execution and protection of company interests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing and supervising the preparation, review, negotiation, and execution of EPC, service, and procurement contracts in accordance with project requirements and upstream agreements.
• Preparing and managing Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages, reviewing tender documents, and coordinating contractual processes with project, procurement, and legal departments.
• Reviewing Requests for Quotation (RFQ), evaluating bidders’ contractual terms and conditions, and providing contractual recommendations to the project owner.
• Evaluating EPC contractors’ proposals from contractual and commercial perspectives and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Managing contract changes, Change Order requests, amendments, and assessing their contractual and financial impacts.
• Monitoring contractors’ contractual performance, controlling contract progress, payments, bonds/guarantees, and contractual obligations.
• Managing the claims management process, contractual disputes, and preparing contractual responses and counterclaims in coordination with contractors.
• Preparing and maintaining contract documentation, correspondence records, amendments, addenda, and contract close-out documents.
• Preparing periodic reports on contract status, contractual progress, risks, and related issues for project management.
• Collaborating with engineering, project control, procurement, finance, and legal teams to resolve contractual issues and facilitate project execution.
Qualifications:
Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in contract engineering, project contract management, or EPC contracts.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
English Language: Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency.
Technical Competencies:
• Proficiency in the principles of preparation, review, execution, and close-out of project contracts.
• Ability to prepare ITT documents, review proposals, and analyze contractors’ commercial and contractual terms.
• Ability to analyze change requests, evaluate contractual impacts, and manage the change approval process.
• Ability to review, analyze, and manage contractual claims and prepare relevant responses.
• Knowledge of contractual concepts, parties’ obligations, bonds/guarantees, payment terms, and contractual risks.
• Ability to analyze costs, payment terms, contractual risks, and provide contractual improvement recommendations.
• Ability to maintain, control, and report contract status and contractors’ obligations.
• Ability to professionally negotiate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
