About the department:

The Patient Access and Public Affairs (PAPA) department mainly works on external stakeholder management at the level of policymakers and governmental organizations especially the Ministry of Health and the Iran Food and Drug Administration. This department is improving patient access to the best treatment options at a reasonable price and creating public awareness about diabetes disease and complications.

The position:

Senior governmental affairs managers are managing the relationships between the organization and government authorities. They commonly work with local stakeholders, and public officials to ensure that their company is operating within all applicable laws and regulations. Your main duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with members of Iranian government entities and agencies.
  • Introduce legislative and public policy changes that will support Novo Nordisk operations.
  • Represent the Novo Nordisk regulation at industry forums and related government events.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date materials for external engagement with key policymakers and stakeholders related to the HC system.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the highest ethical standards and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant academic background, e.g. MBA or any similar field.
  • At least 5 to 6 years of public affairs experience preferably in the pharma industry.
  • Customer-centric, high-performing, and team player approach.
  • Prominent communication and presentation skills.
  • Great written, verbal, and public speaking skills and fluent in both English and Farsi preferred.
