DigikalaBusiness is a new business by Digikala Group specifically designed to meet the needs of different business customers, Digikala Business offers several services to large, governmental or private, small and medium-sized enterprises as well as whole-sellers and re-sellers across Iran with strong country-wide logistics. Digikala Business will propose the first online distribution network in the country. Responsibilities:

  • Provide vision, direction, and product strategy to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the development life cycle.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of products and present complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Influence leaders across the organization and gain buy-in for complex specifications.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with overall company strategies, in this regard, the Product Manager should define customer needs and the associated features and solutions to meet those needs.
  • Ensure that products solve customer and business problems and are stable in production, satisfying scalability, reliability, performance, and business goals.
  • Collaborate with development, quality assurance, and user experience to ensure the right customer problem is solved.
  • Organize and engage in usability testing to define detailed interaction flows.
  • Having end-to-end ownership and sign-off on behalf of the business, as needed.
  • Meet with product users to obtain a comprehensive understanding of needs and constraints.
  • Anticipate the need to bring cross-functional teams together to solve problems.
  • Develop internal and external facing go-to-market content.
  • Ability to divide large projects into iterative releases.
  • Understand technical requirements for the completion of new initiatives and ensure their success.
  • Facilitate communication across internal teams and explain the value of new initiatives.
  • Drive conflict resolution across product development teams.
  • Identify and resolve inefficiencies in PM tools, processes, and workflows.
  • Conduct Demos to business users of capabilities completed.
  • Spearhead change management activities to drive the successful adoption of capabilities.
  • Define and analyze metrics that mature the Product Management functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, or Computer Sciences (an MBA degree is a plus).
  • +4 years of experience, preferably in business applications development or product management for internal/external products.
  • Process and business understanding in B2B, or e-commerce domains.
  • Proven success in delivering complex technology products/services in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience delivering products that incorporate advanced analytical techniques, data-driven decision processes, and applied statistical methods.
  • Experience in leading product development from start to finish, including customer-facing products, with the ability to drive prioritization consensus across business units and effectively liaise between customers and engineering.
  • Experience in non-functional requirements (automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery, and security).
  • Demonstrated solid judgment and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to see the big picture, while navigating technology and partner development decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on communicating technical requirements and solutions to internal and external audiences in Farsi and English.
  • Negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
