Software Test Specialist (QA)

Job Description

• Identify, report, and track software issues and defects.
• Performing manual testing to identify bugs or errors in functionality
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and documentation about test results.
• Analyze user stories and technical specifications to ensure clear understanding and accurate test coverage.
• Work closely with the tech and product team to identify system requirements.
• Communicate effectively about test progress, test results, and any issues encountered during testing.
• Prepare test reports and summaries for review by PM and CTO.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a QA role.
• Expert in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Expert in Functional and non-functional testing.
• Strong analytical skills with high level of attention to detail
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with automated testing and API testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Willingness to learn automated testing tools is a plus.
