Job Description

  • To maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and internal customers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering superior service.
  • To oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requirements gathering to contract close-out, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • To contribute to technical evaluations and support decision-making by providing market insights and supplier performance data.
  • To prepare procurement signoff sheets and present recommendations to the Tender Committee, highlighting key considerations, cost-benefit analyses, and potential risks.
  • To collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product and service quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery timelines meet expectations while adhering to procurement best practices.
  • To manage tender processes, including document preparation, terms and conditions, pricing negotiations, payment arrangements, and modification requests, in compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
  • To support supplier pre-qualification, ensure alignment with organizational standards and values, and mitigate potential risks associated with new partnerships.
  • To develop and issue requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and other solicitation documents to meet organizational requirements.
  • To evaluate supplier proposals, factors such as cost, quality, delivery, and service must be considered to determine the best options for the organization.
  • To prepare documentation for tender committees, including background information, evaluation criteria, and recommendations, ensuring a transparent and well-informed decision-making process.
  • To review and negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure the most favorable agreements for the organization while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • To monitor purchases to ensure compliance with contractual terms and agreed-upon conditions, addressing any deviations promptly and effectively.
  • To maintain open communication with internal customers and stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations to deliver tailored procurement solutions.
  • To build and nurture professional relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • To provide periodic updates to management on procurement assignments' progress, highlighting achievements, challenges, and potential areas for improvement.
  • To conduct ongoing market research on products, services, suppliers, and industry trends, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and market intelligence to inform procurement decisions.
  • To prioritize and meet targets and deadlines for self and team, fostering a results-oriented and performance-driven culture.
  • To develop and report on procurement performance metrics, using dashboards and other tools to track key indicators and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commercial Management, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an area of specialization; experience working in a medium organization.
  • Experience in telecom or technology supply chain categories is highly preferred.
