Ariya Sarv Sahi seeks a detail-oriented and analytical Sourcing & Procurement Specialist in Tehran. This Junior Professional role in Engineering - Product Development/R&D focuses on identifying reliable equipment and service providers till final procurement stage for power plant projects. The Specialist will use advanced web search techniques and evaluate technical and financial supplier information to enhance the procurement process and maintain a comprehensive supplier database.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced, thorough internet research to identify reputable power plant equipment and service producers and suppliers.
- Gather, study, and analyze data sheets, catalogs, and technical specifications, aligning them with project requirements.
- Examine supplier histories, conduct credit checks, and evaluate their technical and financial capabilities.
- Create, develop, and update a comprehensive database of approved suppliers.
- Document search results meticulously and present comparative analytical reports to engineering and commercial teams.
- Negotiate in English with suppliers to facilitate the purchasing stage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Management.
- Exceptional proficiency in advanced web search techniques.
- Excellent command of English for effective negotiation.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, persistence, and problem-solving abilities.
- At least 2 years of related experience in sourcing, procurement, or power plant projects.
