Participate in setting departmental strategic goals and develop interdepartmental policies and procedures.
Support the tax section head in the planning section’s work program and determine the auditing and reporting requirements of the department.
Support tax section head in ensuring departmental policies are aligned with departmental goals and plans.
Perform Operational Assignments:
Perform all tax-related initiatives, processes, and activities in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives and take corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain a reliable taxation data acquisition system in place.
Generate taxation analysis reports are disseminated to concerned parties in an accurate and timely manner.
Support tax section head in disseminating taxation requirements of the Company to the vendors/subcontractors and contract holders.
Maintain a secure archive of taxation documents.
Prepare withholding tax report every two weeks, and proceed with payment and submitting to the tax office.
Support tax section head in ensuring reconciliation of tax and SSO accounts every month.
Prepare a social security payroll list every month (for local staff) and ensure timely submission to the social security organization.
Prepare Income tax reports for local and expatriate staff and ensure timely submission to the tax office every month.
Prepare value-added tax reports and ensure timely submission to concerned parties.
Prepare taxation-related correspondences to internal and external stakeholders in conformance with prescribed laws and regulations.
Ensure that all the taxation documents are being issued and processed safely and securely.
Ensure full compliance of section activities with HSE regulations and policies and make certain all subordinated team members are well-trained about their role in the company emergency response plan.
Take part in responding to internal or external auditing practices.
Making custom-made managerial reports and reconciliation know-how between different databases.
Control Financial Data:
Support the tax section head in controlling the section’s activities in conformance with the approved budget and make certain cost recovery requirements are properly met.
Adhere to human resource policies:
Perform designated tasks in line with departmental established strategies and support other team members in carrying out their tasks.
Adhere to behavioral objectives set by the company.
Resolve workplace conflicts and maintain a cooperative and peaceful environment in the workplace.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in the same field with a proven track record.
Knowledge
Knowledge of the practical application of financial management science and technology, including applying principles, techniques, and procedures to the design and perform financial activities.
