Treasury Supervisor (Local Payments)

Job Description

The incumbent is responsible for supervising treasury operations of the Iran market within the limits defined in the local policy & procedures and all local payments of the company to suppliers, and governmental bodies (customs, excises, rent taxes, CIT taxes, VAT, etc.), and internal ones (like salary, petty cash, expense reports, etc.) based on proper supporting documents while providing necessary communication to relevant stakeholders.

Areas of Responsibility:

Local Payments:

The position is responsible for supervising treasury operations of the Iran market within the limits defined in the local policy and procedures and all local payments of the company to:

• Suppliers.
• Governmental bodies (customs, excises, rent taxes, CIT taxes, VAT, etc.).
• Internal payments (like salary, petty cash, expense reports, etc.) based on proper supporting documents while providing necessary communication to relevant stakeholders.

Controlling and Reporting:

• Have a close relationship with treasury and tax managers for cash management and ad hoc requests.
• Booking and calculating bank interest to be sure they are calculated accurately by banks.
• Responsible for managing and monitoring letters of guaranteed operations taking company credit limits and bank commission rates.
• Realize inter-company fund transfers and bank-to-bank transfers according to a cash position.
• Have close relationships with banks to follow up on the payments to the suppliers and be updated about any changes in banking regulations/legislation.
