Job Description
Summary:
We seek a highly creative and experienced senior visual supervisor to lead our video production, photography, graphic design, and photo editing team. This role will oversee all aspects of visual content creation, ensuring exceptional quality, adherence to deadlines, and strategic alignment with company goals.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Design and implement efficient video and photo production processes.
- Lead content meetings, fostering a creative and collaborative team environment.
- Develop and manage the team's service scalability to meet evolving needs.
- Inject creativity and fresh ideas into visual content strategies, staying ahead of design trends and best practices.
- Take ownership of Digikala's Content Department visual content production.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest e-commerce design trends and best practices.
Project Management & Execution:
- Manage all aspects of video shoots and graphic creation projects, from concept to completion.
- Oversee video production, including setup, tear down, storyboarding, directing, and post-production editing.
- Manage photo shoots, ensuring smooth execution, high-quality visuals, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Create production reports, schedules, and other necessary documentation to ensure project clarity and efficiency.
- Liaise with all departments to ensure clear communication and awareness of upcoming shoots.
- Manage props, casting, and other logistical aspects when required.
- Ensure the highest quality standards in all visual content productions.
- Provide thorough and accurate reports as directed by the content production manager.
- Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in a senior visual content creation role (minimum 3-5 years).
- Extensive knowledge of visual content production techniques and procedures, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Working knowledge of storyboarding, scheduling, budgeting, equipment operation (cameras, lighting, sound), directing, editing, and color grading (to a certain extent).
- A deep understanding of e-commerce design principles.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Strong conceptual skills, a high-level sense of design, layout, and typography, and a broad thinker who can offer various design solutions.
- Strong understanding of photography principles and techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in directing and managing multi-disciplinary creative teams.
- Excellent taste in visual design and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in design software beyond Photoshop, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, etc.) is a must.
- Excellent reporting and communication skills.
- A creative, artistic, and aesthetically sensitive eye for visual content creation.
- Experience in a similar e-commerce position is a definite plus.
