About the department:

The LMT site is located in Barkat Pharmaceutical Industrial City, Alborz Province went into operation in 2020 and has 160 employees in total. The manufacturing site handles the assembly and packaging production of Novo Nordisk’s FlexPen® sold in Iran with modern insulin (NovoRapid®, NovoMix®30, Levemir®) and Victoza®.

The basic purpose of warehousing at Novo Nordisk is to have usable goods available in stock when needed and to maintain the quality and protect the integrity of the stored goods according to their specified conditions. The process of warehousing consists of three main activities: receipt, storage, and dispatch. The general functional areas of the warehouse include receiving raw materials, shipping final goods, material handling within the plant, inventory control, and general/controlled waste management.

The position:

As warehouse operator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Control materials receipt, in-house transportation, and shipment of products to Iranian Affiliates.
  • Perform material transfer from warehouse to production and vice versa.
  • Support production in material delivery and receiving back.
  • Receive products from production and prepare them for dispatch to distribution.
  • Ensure all shipments are sent to affiliates based on defined lead times.
  • Follow up on waste handling and ensure proper processes for waste material control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Technical degree or Business Administration).
  • Experience in a drug and food manufacturing environment, preferably with international companies.
  • Knowledge of warehousing and logistics.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, teamwork, and time management.
  • Proficient IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP system, and/or other warehousing systems).
