Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated category manager. As a category manager, you will be responsible for strategic planning and execution of sourcing and commercial activities for a specific product category. This includes developing and managing product assortment, setting pricing, developing, and executing marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Source and manage relationships with FMCG suppliers.
- Develop and manage product assortment for the assigned category, ensuring that it meets the needs of the target customer and is aligned with the company's overall e-commerce strategy.
- Set pricing for products in the category on the platform, taking into account factors such as competition, cost, and demand.
- Work with suppliers to ensure that products are available in a timely manner and meet the company's quality standards.
- Track and analyze sales data to measure the performance of the category and make necessary adjustments.
- Work with other members of the e-commerce team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Profit and loss control.
- Inventory control and take action for items.
