We are seeking a highly motivated category manager. As a category manager, you will be responsible for strategic planning and execution of sourcing and commercial activities for a specific product category. This includes developing and managing product assortment, setting pricing, developing, and executing marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Source and manage relationships with FMCG suppliers.
Develop and manage product assortment for the assigned category, ensuring that it meets the needs of the target customer and is aligned with the company's overall e-commerce strategy.
Set pricing for products in the category on the platform, taking into account factors such as competition, cost, and demand.
Work with suppliers to ensure that products are available in a timely manner and meet the company's quality standards.
Track and analyze sales data to measure the performance of the category and make necessary adjustments.
Work with other members of the e-commerce team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Profit and loss control.
Inventory control and take action for items.
Requirements
3+ years of managerial experience in the FMCG industry.
Strong understanding of e-commerce trends and best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
