Regularly be in touch with planning departments to receive new inquiries about needed materials.
Active search and prepare a valid and comprehensive local and international vendor list for the demand of the company for different materials.
Regularly be in touch with vendors and be aware of any new development of new products.
Participate in local and international exhibitions to maintain and expand the network of vendors.
Coordinate all international commercial affairs such as corresponding, orders controlling with suppliers for payment, shipment or delivery schedule, commercial registration procedure, and transportation follow-up.
Manage the process of getting necessary permissions from the Ministry of Commerce and also the Ministry of Health.
Open letters of credit and handle any other banking transactions.
Plan and coordinate customs clearance procedures.
Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Commercial Management (having an MBA degree is a plus point).
At least two years of experience in commerce and preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent fluency in English.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Self-organized, and motivated with leadership skills.
Able to work under pressure and time constraints.
Good knowledge of international trading.
Familiar with import order registration at the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Health.
