About the Job:
This role is at the executive level of our company and helps make long-term financial decisions regarding the company’s future. Their duties include analyzing departmental finances, creating a company budget, and ensuring the financial health and stability of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial strategy and planning.
- Financial performance analysis and reporting.
- Oversee audit and tax functions.
- Create and enforce accounting policies.
- Create projections and detailed budgets.
- Examine the finances of several departments.
- Identify, manage, and reduce risk.
- Analyze large amounts of financial data.
- Take care of internal controls.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investment strategies to optimize returns while maintaining appropriate levels of liquidity.
- Ensure clear and transparent communication of financial information, performance metrics, and future projections.
- Evaluate the financial health, risks, and strategic fit of potential acquisitions.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of the company's financial statements.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, or Accounting.
- At least 8 years of experience in FMCG (multinational food industries is a plus).
Experience and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of accounting software.
- Experience in financial management.
- Strong command of English.
- Strong analytical skills.
