Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and cost-saving targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and suitability.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers to optimize pricing and terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand product requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement strategies to achieve savings.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and procurement and supply chain management best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on procurement-related matters.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with inventory management teams.
  • Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise with suppliers or internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgy, Mining or Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in purchasing products and services.
