Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Identification and Evaluation:

  • Identify and research potential suppliers for products and services.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to company standards.

Contract Negotiation:

  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory standards.

Procurement Management:

  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
  • Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Resolve any issues related to order discrepancies, delays, or quality concerns.
  • Cost Management:
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with internal departments such as R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production to understand sourcing needs.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement goals.
  • Provide regular updates on sourcing activities and supplier performance.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage risks associated with supplier relationships and procurement processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the same industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with international sourcing and global supply chain management.
  • Fluent in Turkish.
