Job Description

Summary:

We are looking for a storage administrator to join our team at ZAFTA. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Enterprise SAN Storage devices and solutions and Active-Active sites, and also experience working in an enterprise banking environment with multiple data centers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain EMC Storage, EMC VPLEX, EMC Recover Point and MDS SAN switches.
• Provision and manage storage resources for virtual and physical machines and databases.
• Perform storage performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Design, Implement, and maintain storage disaster recovery plans.
• Work with other technical teams to support business applications and services.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in designing and managing storage solutions.
• Expert In EMC Unity, VNX, and Data Domain Series.
• Expert In Cisco MDS and Brocade SilkWorm.
• Strong knowledge of EMC VPLEX and Recover Point.
• Strong Knowledge of HP and Quantum Tape Library.
• Experience working in an enterprise banking environment with multiple data centers.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and vCenter Server.
• Experience with storage management tools such as Navisphere and Symmetrix Management Console.
• Excellent understanding of storage networking and replication solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with VMware Solutions in Enterprise Environments that have vSphere, vSAN, SRM, etc.
• Experience with EMC, Cisco, and third-party monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of operating system administration.
