Job Summary:
The supply IT goods partner is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement and supply of IT goods and equipment for the organization. This role requires strategic planning, vendor management, contract negotiation, and close collaboration with various departments to meet the company's technological needs in a cost-effective and timely manner. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of IT products, a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, and excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategies for procuring IT goods and equipment, ensuring alignment with business goals and budget constraints.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (B2E Sales Team) to understand their IT needs, forecast demand, and create sourcing strategies.
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best prices, quality, and service.
- Engage in negotiations with suppliers to optimize pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Contract Negotiation and Compliance:
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other essential details.
Inventory and Logistics Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the purchase and delivery of IT goods to meet organizational demand without overstocking.
- Oversee the logistics and distribution process to ensure timely delivery and accurate tracking of orders.
Market Research and Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on market trends, new technologies, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Evaluate product specifications and compare alternative goods to ensure quality and compatibility with company needs.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: More than 5 years of experience in IT procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably in a large organization.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent understanding of IT goods, including hardware, software, and networking equipment.
- Familiarity with procurement software and supply chain management tools.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
