Ensuring tax accounting of an Iranian legal entity in accordance with local legislation.
Preparing tax reports in accordance with Iranian law.
Entering data on the calculation of taxes and contributions in the 1C system.
Ensuring the comparability of data in the 1C system with data in the local accounting system Kowsar.
Interacting with the contractor on tax and SSO issues.
Transferring information from 1C to KOWSAR.
Receiving information from the contractor on tax returns sent to the tax office.
Preparing applications in 1c for payment of taxes and contributions.
Coordinating contracts, purchase orders in 1c.
Interacting with auditors during audits.
Interacting with tax authorities, and reconciliation of tax calculations.
Participating in improving accounting in order to reduce tax payments, penalties, and risks of non-refundable costs.
Participating in the development of internal regulatory documents related to accounting procedures.
Planning tax payments and contributions.
Informing about the introduced changes in Iranian legislation.
Dealing with tax and SSO organizations when needed.
Requirements
One hundred percent mastery over insurance, tax laws, and continuity in updating the information of the governing laws.
Familiarity with the preparation of quarterly reports and VAT.
Understanding financial statements and presentation of financial statements and financial statements.
Higher professional education (bachelor's or master's degree), relevant professional certification, or postgraduate program is preferable.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting; 4 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry with buy-back contracts is preferable.
Relevant experience in audit and costing is advantageous.
Experience in payroll calculation and accounting is a must.
Experience in Iranian tax and reporting is a must.
Excellent MS Office skills, especially MS Excel.
Fluent in verbal and written English (upper-intermediate level or higher).
Excellent strategic planning skills and ability to interact with all levels.
Able to multitask and open to adapt to changing business requirements.
