Building Engineer

Job Description

Purpose:

• Doing activities related to building and construction, including projects and current affairs that require specialized knowledge in civil engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Controlling the technical and financial proposals of contractors in different projects and the ability to compare them with each other and preparing the required technical reports.
• Supervising and controlling the performance of contractors.
• Controlling and analyzing their reports, PIs, and PFIs.
• Responsible for controlling contractor's drawings and documents (especially construction).
• Updating construction and facility construction as built drawings and documents.
• Carrying out the daily or routine activities and other activities which been requested by line manager and providing the necessary reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of work experience in building projects.
• Sufficient skills in building drawings, designing building structures, and having the necessary information and ability how to supervise the work of contractors. having the required knowledge about safety issues especially related to building projects. Being a member of the engineering system organization and having the required skills to work with MS Office.
