Monitor and control processing parameters to achieve required optimum crude specifications (H2S, RVP, BS&W, and Salt Content) and report any abnormal condition.
Monitor, maintain, and optimize process parameters (level, flow rate, temperature, pressure, temperature) within required operating requirements limits and take remedial action if there is any alarm or other abnormal condition.
Routine checks all HMI software pages and compares the field and DCS data.
Perform normal and initial start-up and emergency shutdown and planned shut-down process sequences according to the shutdown and start-up procedures.
Direct the field operators in the adjustment and balancing of the process for changes in process variables.
Complete daily parameter log sheet and report to the supervisor.
Coordinate with the maintenance team during maintenance activities to prepare and ensure safe conditions for the maintenance operation regarding the PTW and PTW approver requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Process, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
Valid safety training with an H2S certificate.
AGT (Authorized Gas Testing) Level 1,2,3.
Basic communication in English.
5 to 8 years of experience in production operation in the oil industry.
