Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Job Description

A company is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong technical background who is capable of driving technological innovation and skilled in leveraging data analytics and machine learning to inform business decisions. This role will involve creative thinking and exploration and play a highly influential role in shaping our innovation identity, processes, and culture. As a CTO, you will drive the development and execution of data-driven strategies that promote growth, efficiency, and technological advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a high-performing technical team focusing on open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
• Set and track team goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Guide adopting machine learning, data analytics, and AI tools to enhance business processes and decision-making.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless execution of development and deployment processes.
• Develop and implement strategies for leveraging data-driven insights across all departments to improve business performance.
• Establish and maintain a robust data infrastructure to support advanced analytics, real-time decision-making, and machine learning models.
• Identify key areas for technological innovation and experimentation, fostering a culture of creativity, risk-taking, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and coach team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in a data-centric, fast-paced environment.
• Manage performance, encourage development, and resolve team challenges effectively.
• Foster a data-driven mindset, ensuring that data insights are integrated into business strategy and product development.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in technology roles, with at least 2 years in a CTO or equivalent leadership position.
• Strong experience with data analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies.
• Proven expertise in building and deploying machine learning models to solve real-world business problems.
• Experience with data management platforms (Relational, NoSQL, Key-Value Stores) and implementing advanced analytics pipelines.
• Expertise in cloud technologies and distributed systems (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficient in Python, with experience in data science libraries (e.g., pandas, sci-kit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiar with containerization tools like Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
• Familiar knowledge of web technologies (React, Angular, PHP Laravel).
• Proven ability to drive technological innovation and build a strategy that is both scalable and sustainable.
• Deep understanding of business planning, budgeting, and performance management.
• Strong strategic thinking aptitude, with the ability to align technology and business goals.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and coaching skills.
• Ability to manage risks and resolve conflicts while keeping teams motivated and focused on shared goals.
