To define, shape, and drive the development of MTNIrancell’s cloud and data center service portfolio in alignment with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
To lead the strategic development of MTNIrancell’s full portfolio of cloud and data center services — including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, GPUaaS, Data center services, etc., by managing product visioning, market research, financial modeling, roadmap creation, and feasibility assessments.
The consultant will ensure MTNIrancell’s offerings are tailored to customer needs, regulatory conditions, and commercial success, ultimately enabling MTNIrancell to become a leading player in Iran’s cloud ecosystem.
To manage relationships and lead negotiations with potential cloud customers, aiming to sell various offerings from Irancell’s cloud portfolio.
Responsibilities:
To define the cloud product strategy and vision along with an optimized and competitive cloud and data center services portfolio aligned with market needs and MTNIrancell’s technical and commercial capabilities.
To identify, segment, and prioritize key customer groups (e.g., SMEs, corporates, government, startups) and map suitable cloud services to each.
To conduct market research and demand assessment studies for various cloud services and define MTNIrancell’s target markets.
To benchmark local cloud service providers and analyze their pricing, offerings, and value propositions to identify market gaps and define MTNIrancell’s unique positioning.
To contribute to the development of a phased go-to-market roadmap and cloud launch strategy based on market demand and feasibility.
To support and contribute in revenue forecasts and investment modeling for cloud and data center services, considering segment-specific willingness to pay and cost-efficiency.
To collaborate with regulatory teams to identify compliance requirements including data localization, cybersecurity laws, and sector-specific mandates.
To identify synergies within MTNIrancell functions (e.g., data infrastructure, customer base, connectivity) that can accelerate cloud service adoption.
To estimate investment needs across infrastructure, software, partnerships, and operational expenditures, and define a realistic ROI roadmap.
To assess and document key risks (technical, regulatory, financial, and market) and recommend mitigation strategies.
To develop stakeholder engagement plans and facilitate alignment between technical, commercial, and leadership stakeholders.
To actively engage with potential customers, understand their needs, present value propositions, handle objections, and close deals to generate cloud revenue.
To define the portfolio items for launching the service by identifying the scale and scope of offerings for each phase.
To ensure product strategy aligns with MTNIrancell’s current and future technical capabilities with related technical stakeholders.
To facilitate cross-functional alignment across commercial, technical, financial, and executive stakeholders
To represent MTNIrancell in strategic discussions with vendors and potential partners regarding cloud and data center services.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
An MBA or a Master’s degree in ICT Management, or Digital Business is advantageous.
Experience:
At least 7 years of experience in cloud services, data center strategy, or ICT consulting.
Proven experience in product development, market analysis, and cloud business modeling.
Experience working with regulatory authorities and enterprise clients in Iran or similar markets.
Experience in pre-sales or sales enablement of data center and cloud products is a strong plus.
Experience in leading product portfolio development or go-to-market strategy in the tech/ICT sector.
Familiarity with Iranian enterprise and government digital transformation needs.
Hands-on experience with product roadmap creation.
