Job Description

  • Ensure implementation of the EHS management system and compliance with the group and local EHS standards in the factory and other operations premises.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in all EHS dimensions.

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

  • Zero LWC (lost work case) incidents and environmental incidents in operations;
  • Minimization of financial losses arising from EHS risks in operations;
  • EHS management is accepted and fully integrated into routine business management in operations;
  • Compliance with BAT and legal standards, policies, and programs as to EHS;
  • Line management and staff have sufficient information, in the form of objectives, targets, procedures, guidelines, and instructions to manage EHS issues effectively;
  • Suppliers' and contractors' EHS performance standards match those of BAT;
  • Minimize the exposure of all people in factory premises to the risk of injury;
