Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with extensive accounting experience to join us. As a financial manager, you'll participate in functional discussions and initiatives across departments and provide input into business unit planning. You'll develop internal and/or external partnerships that leverage resources and improve business unit responsiveness; prepare and distribute timely and insightful financial analysis of pertinent information to determine progress against strategic plan, budget, and forecast, and support external financial decisions. To drive actionable responses, you'll actively interpret and review financial results with business leaders, including trends/issues and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide and interpret financial information.
  • Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends weekly.
  • Analyse change and advise accordingly.
  • Research and report on factors influencing business performance.
  • Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Manage a company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
  • Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, and bankers.
  • Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
  • Manage budgets.
  • Arrange new sources of finance for a company's debt facilities.
  • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
  • Plan, control, audit, and analyze financial records and report to the director manager.
  • Deal with income tax, salary tax, withholding tax, VAT, and Ministry of Finance and Tax issues and have direct contact with authorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Accounting.
  • Fluent in English/holding a TOEFL or IELTS degree within 2 years of validity is a must.
  • +5 years of related experience as a financial manager.
  • Highly numerate with strong IT and financial analysis skills, coupled with the ability to interpret data and assess impacts on the business.
  • Ability to communicate with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially highly competent in the use of Excel.
  • Self-confident, decisive, resilient, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A motivational team leader focused on managing, coaching, and developing the team to achieve their full potential.
