Job Description

● Plan and perform the required tasks to receive necessary approvals of the MIMT (Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trades), and other related authorities to import requirements of the company in terms of raw material and spare parts. ● Plan and establish communications between suppliers and shipping companies in terms of order placement, shipping and inspection arrangements and documents preparation. ● Be in close communication with other functions of the company such as Finance, Planning and Technical departments to ensure smooth process flow. ● Be in close contact with the MIMT (Garmsar, Semnan and Tehran) and bank (branch and international affairs) to follow up the latest updates. ● Be in close communication with customs clearance team to lead and provide any support necessary in order to clear the items in the shortest time. ● Provide regular reports to related functions of the company. ● Ensure lead times are met and provide root cause analysis for any delays. ● Gather or receive all new regulations, information and notices from related authorities. ● Sourcing and suppliers assessment.

Requirements

● 5 years of managerial background. Previous experience in import operations of chemicals (non pharmaceutical) is preferred. ● Proficient in NTSW, EPL, MIMT and Bank and CBI applications, MIMT processes and Customs processes. ● Proficient in shipping and inspection coordination. ● Proficient in commercial communications. ● INCOTERMS knowledge. ● Familiarity with local purchase is an advantage. ● Upper Intermediate English skills. ● Skilled in MS Office software. ● Leadership and team building skills. ● Team player.
