Job Description
This position focuses on developing and managing chemical export and import business opportunities in Iran.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identifying and pursuing export opportunities for chemicals from Iran, with a main focus on the petrochemical sector. This includes following up on potential business issues and actively developing new leads.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with Petrochemical factories in Iran to secure tenders for chemical supply.
- Sourcing & Cost Optimization: Continuously updating and obtaining competitive offers from Iranian suppliers.
- Office Management: Overseeing daily operations and administrative functions of the Iran office.
- Reporting: Providing daily reports on key issues to headquarters.
- Import Development: Exploring and developing import opportunities in Iran.
- General Responsibilities: Completing tasks as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Commerce, or Management.
- Several years of experience in the chemical business in Iran, and having good relationships with suppliers.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A strong drive to achieve goals quickly.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Available for business travel for business purposes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Expertise in negotiation and stakeholder management.
- Thorough understanding of the chemical, polymer, and petrochemical trade.
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics and international trade operations.
