Job Description

We are looking for an experienced specialist as an investment expert at AMAJ Capital (private equity firm); this job position is located in Farmaniye, Tehran. In this job position, you will use your analytical and economic expertise to review and analyze proposed or existing investment opportunities in the target markets, focused on detailed analysis and investment solutions.

The Most Important Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and study the market and identify existing opportunities and threats;
  • Review, analysis, and evaluation of current investment situations and investment opportunities.
  • Prepare financial and analytical reports.
  • Generate financial models to analyze trends, forecast, evaluate, and evaluate financial and investment risk.
  • Develop financial models for valuation in order to make decisions on merging acquisition or capital-increasing processes.
  • Cooperate with different teams on investment projects.
  • Participate in meetings and present suggestions to the management team.
  • Follow up and supervise projects, investment performance, and other assigned matters.
  • Communicate with experts and specialists in the industry.

Education:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree and preferably a Master's degree in related fields such as Financial Engineering, Economics, etc.
  • Professional degrees and qualifications such as CFA are an advantage.

Experiences:

  • At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in finance, investment, financial analysis, or asset management.
  • Work experience in investment companies, banks, and other reputable financial institutions.

Abilities:

  • Financial analysis: the ability to analyze financial statements and evaluate the performance of companies.
  • Risk management: the ability to identify and manage investment risks.
  • Market analysis: the ability to analyze market trends and provide investment recommendations.
  • Research skills: ability to conduct comprehensive research and keep market information up to date.
  • Financial software: mastery of financial and analytical software such as Excel, Bloomberg, and portfolio management software, as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Communication skills: the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, working knowledge of principles of organizational behavior and hierarchy, and process-based concepts.
  • Task skills: the ability to coordinate and perform assigned tasks on defined and requested time with proper prioritization.
  • Presentation skills: the ability to prepare and present analytical reports to managers and clients.
  • Non-specialized but necessary skills: good at English (at least B2 level), problem-solving ability, and having the desire to learn as well as creativity.
